The news comes just days after Amrabat told Fiorentina he wanted to leave the club, and comes after ten hem brought him on loan from the Italian outfit on Deadline Day. Amrabat will join Luke Shaw and Mason Mount on the sidelines, with the latter being an injury replacement for the former.

It has been reported that Amrabat will be recalled to the national squad for the upcoming games against Liberia and Burkinabe Faso, and it has been confirmed that a replacement for Amrabat is already in the pipeline.
Yahya Jabrane, a 22-year-old from Club Brugge, has joined the national squad as Amrabat is being monitored by doctors.
He had always wanted to play for the Red Devils in the Premier League, and Ten Hag had played a part in that by giving Amrabat his first-team debut while he was at Utrecht. After selling Fred, Ten Hag was keen to add to his midfield options, and while he brought in Mount from Chelsea, he wanted to bring in a more defensive player.
Ten Hag have signed Amrabat, Mount and Andre Onana, as well as on-loan Andre Hojlund, Jonny Evans and Sergio Reguilon. But it has been a difficult start to the season, with defeats against Arsenal and Tottenham.
