Award-winning actress Funke Akindele has implored individuals to show kindness towards those grieving the death of a loved one.
She explained the importance of being gracious to those that mourn, noting it’s a phase when one is overwhelmed with an awful feeling.
She reiterated her point, cautioning people without pleasant things to say to mourners to rather maintain silence.

Akindele stated this while empathising with the family and loved ones of late singer Mohbad.
The film maker said: “Pls be watchful of what you say when people are mourning.
If you cannot be kind pls keep Quiet. May the Lord comfort those mourning. Amen.
“I’ve been there, it’s a terrible feeling to mourn. Pls be kind.
“Show love and support to those mourning in any way you can and be watchful of what you say #RIPMohbad. May God comfort his family and loved ones!”
