Super Eagles forward Victor Boniface, who suffered a major groin injury in Super Eagles training on the eve of the recent AFCON, has finally been given a date to return to action with his high-flying German Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen.
Victor Boniface has returned to light training on the pitch, signalling his imminent return to action for Bayer Leverkusen, explorerng.com reports.
The 23-year-old forward registered ten goals and seven assists in 16 games in the first half of the season.
Bayer Leverkusen coach Xabi Alonso said he believes his top scorer could be fit for their Bundesliga tie against Hoffenheim on March 30, immediately after the Victor Boniface, 22, finally returned to the grass last week and could be back on the pitch between March 20th and April 5th for the Bundesliga table toppers.
Boniface’s post means that he is drawing closer to making his return to action. The striker will likely return to action in the next two weeks.

Boniface’s return will give Bayer Leverkusen a big boost in their attack.
