Nigeria and Fulham’s midfielder Alexander (Alex) Iwobi is back on social media, following close to a month’s hiatus due to criticism received during the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2023 tournament.

The Super Eagles star Alex Iwobi had taken a break from social media, deleting all his Instagram posts due to harsh comments from Nigerian football fans following the team’s loss to Ivory Coast in the final.

Many fans took to the former Arsenal midfielder’s social media to express their disappointment with what they perceived as a subpar performance.
The ex-Everton man has now returned to social media by sharing a video on Instagram.
