Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men took advantage of the situation and took the lead in the 18th minute courtesy of Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s finish from close range. Man United doubled their advantage just seven minutes later when Marcus Rashford found the back of the net.
In the 34th minute, Jan Bednarek scored an unfortunate own goal which killed the game off. Edinson Cavani added another goal soon after to give his side a commanding 4-0 lead at half-time.
