Three Chinese expatriates kidnapped at a mining site in Akere village via Ifewara Community in Atakunmosa West Local Government Area, Osun State have been recused by security operatives. The Nation learnt.
The Chinese expatriates were rescued eight days after they were kidnapped.
It was reported their abductors killed a policeman, who was their orderly during the attack.
The Nation reported that a security source revealed that the kidnappers demanded N500 million ransom.
The spokesperson of Osun State Police Command, Mrs Yemisi Opalola confirmed on Monday night that the Chinese expatriates have been rescued.
