Nigeria reported another 1,133 new cases of COVID-19, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said. Lagos and FCT Abuja has the highest figures ever infection recorded since recordkeeping commenced in March.
According to the NCDC, total COVID-19 cases in Nigeria now sums up to 80,922 cases. While 69,274 cases have been discharged, the country has recorded 1236 deaths across the 36 states and Federal Capital Territory.

Our discharges today include 134 community recoveries in Lagos State and 96 community recoveries in the FCT managed in line with guidelines, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said.
